Vanished villages in Grafenried

Grafenried, today known as Lučina, was a village near the German border, west of Nemanice. After the Second World War, the German population was expelled and the village destroyed. The St. George church survived until the 1970s but was demolished despite being a listed monument. In 2011 the remains of the church were partly uncovered and renovated, so that today visitors can view the exposed presbytery, the newly built altar mensa, the sacristy, parts of the nave and the remains of the tower.
