Since 1983 – A Place for Education and Encounter
<p style="text-align: left;">Since our founding in 1983 – initiated by the social associations KAB and CAJ – we have been committed to educational work with young people.<br />As early as 1988, we were recognised and supported as one of twelve youth education centres by the Bavarian Youth Ring. Since 1995, we have been the youth education centre for the Oberpfalz district.<br />With state recognition as an environmental station in 2013 and our designation as the youth education centre of the Oberpfalz district in 2019, we have further strengthened our significance.<br />Today, with 165 beds, we offer a vibrant place for exchange and personal development. Each year we welcome around 9,000 guests – that is approximately 27,000 overnight stays.</p>
Learning Together – from Media Education to Environmental Education
<p>Our educational programme encompasses around 200 seminars per year and is aimed at children, young people and volunteers. The focus areas are vocational and civic education, intercultural and group-based youth work, media education, and environmental education in the sense of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).</p><p>With our diverse range of offerings, we reach participants from across Germany and European countries – with a special focus on Bavaria.</p>
Where Groups Grow and Memories Are Made
<p>At the same time, we are your youth guest house and offer ideal conditions for further training, seminar days, school excursions, leisure trips, weekend events, choir and orchestra days, class trips and training camps.</p>
